One last week

After the hub bub of Christmas is over you have to start
thinking about getting back into a routine, the task of putting away all
the Christmas decor, and getting through one more week before school starts.

By this time the kids are going a little stir crazy.
The weather is cold and wet so can't send them outside.
Well unless they REALLY want to I don't argue.

They don't have the excitement of Christmas to look forward too.
They either get along great and will go off together to "play"
or I hear non stop he touched me, well she did it first,
I get the ipad in 5 minutes, when is it my turn,
get out my room {insert door slam}, Jordan won't stop
acting like a dog, Michelle told me to go away,
I think you get the idea.  Then I ready to pull my hair out.
If it is really bad I send them both to their rooms, tell them to close
the door, and not come out. It is silent for about half an hour then
they start asking to come out.

So that last week had its ups and downs.
On Wednesday we hung around the house.
Played lots of skip-bo and Phase 10 with Michelle.
Josh and Jordan put together their own
wash plant just like on Gold Rush.

Friday we ventured out on an outing to Bellingham.
Michelle had a few Christmas exchanges.

{my first time ever pushing the cart through the mall. I am one
of those people who always annoyed with other people who do it}

Afterwards we met with Josh for lunch before heading home.

Later that afternoon my brother John came by to say goodbye
before he headed back to college.

Saturday I ran errands and then the kiddos spent the night
at my parents so we could see my brother in law's band play
for the first time.

Sunday Josh went to Seattle for the day to attend the Seahawks game.

Monday we got snow!
Jordan went right out as soon as the ground was covered
and started shoveling the alley, sidewalks, and driveways.

New Years Eve the kiddos went to my parents for their annual
party! I will post about that next!
