weekend lens | busy busy

Josh and I both had to go down
south Saturday. Josh had a one day tournament and then was going to
the Mariner game after. I had a baby shower for a friend.
By the time I got back Saturday night I was tired and sweaty.
No AC for me for the two hour drive there and back.
I drove Michelle over to her friends house to spend the night.
Sunday morning she left to go on a week long trip with them.
That is the longest she has ever been away from home with someone
other then family. I think she was feeling pretty homesick before I even
left her. Jordan and I headed back home for showers and bed.

Sunday I had another baby shower for my good friend Karissa!!
So many babies are coming or have been born this year!

While I was partying it up Josh took Jordan over to swim in my parents pool.
They were still in the process of filling it up with water right out of the hose
so I heard it was cold but felt good. I will give it a few days to warm up before I jump in.

We were all in bed pretty early Sunday night.
Jordan's head hits the pillow and he is out quick.

This week is looking to be pretty busy too.
Jordan starts swim lessons this week.
everyday for an hour, still going strong with baseball
two nights a week, plus Josh plays one night, raspberry festival
3 on 3 basketball Friday so they have a practice this week and then
we are headed down south Friday night for another softball tournament
down south. A HUGE thanks to my mom who is going to have Jordan
so we can enjoy some couple time kid free!!! It has been a while. I love the
kiddos but having them home everyday all day you need a little break every once
in a while. Michelle comes home next Sunday!

weekend lens | sun fun

We are getting an amazing taste of summer here!

We had a beautiful weekend full of sun.

Friday night I took Michelle out to Semiahmoo to 

get pictures done for her 13th Birthday! 

Cat from Blue Umbrella Photography did an amazing job! 

Michelle absolutely loved it! Here are two sneak peaks!

Saturday was a low key day at home!
I woke up not feeling 100% but didn't want to waste a
beautiful day. I set up outside in my jar with a book and watched
Jordan play garbage trucks in the yard. After a while I asked him
if he wanted me to set up the pool for him.

Sunday was relaxed around the house again!

It is nice having weekends with no where to be and then sun shining!

Jordan played with the neighbor kids, swam in the pool, my nephew

Eli came over to join him for a bit before we headed over to my sister's

for a family BBQ to end the weekend right.

weekend lens | memorial weekend

This weekend we loaded up my sister's van and headed to Portland, OR.

Josh's softball team was playing in the border bash tournament.

We went last year too and they took 2nd place.

We let Michelle bring along a friend since there aren't any other kiddos her age.

We headed out early at 6 am. We wanted to get there in time to go to the Nike

employing store before their practice that evening. 

Saturday morning they had a 8 am game so we were back at the fields brought and early.

They played and won two games and then had a large break.

We had a team BBQ and then I took the girls shopping  until the next game. 

They won the next two games to go undefeated for the day!

 

We got to sleep in a little more today but still had to be to the fields at 9 am for practice.

They made it to the championship game but lost to take 2nd place again!

Everyone had a great weekend! The kids did really well hanging out at the fields all day.

I love hanging out with the Napalm family!!
