fun in the sun | Northwest Washington Fair

Every year the fair comes to town for a week!

This week is fell on the week of August 11th to 16th.

On Monday I saw on Facebook that our local paper was doing

a giveaway for four tickets to the demo derby that night. I entered

of course never thinking I would win. When I checked back later

I saw I did win!! I was so excited!! I had been wanting to take the kids

for years but it is a super popular event now and the price has gotten jacked

way up. I called Josh up right away and let him know.

Then on Thursday we did our day at the fair!

Every year we do one full day at the fair!

We get there when it opens and leave when the last ride shuts down.

We met up with my sisters and nephews and spent the day

walking around with them and going on rides!

To stick with tradition we walked over to Little Caesars for a lunch break!

 

Josh met up with us around dinner time. Since it had started to rain

we headed over to the Fairway Cafe to eat. 

The rain let up so we headed back. It did end up start really coming down 

on us later though but we didn't let it slow us down!

We have loved going to the fair for years.
