We started off the morning meeting up with Uncle Bob and Aunt Carolyn
one last time for breakfast. It was fun to talk, share stories, and catch up.
Then it was time to head to the park!
Today we were going to do California Adventure side.
When I visited in high school this side didn't even exist.
When we came 6 years ago I remember walking through it but not
spending a lot of time on that side.
I know that as soon as we got inside I wanted to head straight to the
fast pass for Radiator Springs Racers.
I read online prior that this is the most popular attraction right now
and fast pass are gone within hours of the park opening.
Once inside we bee lined to find the fast pass line.
We almost missed it because I didn't realize that all the people
forming a huge line were waiting for that also.
I though maybe they were waiting for a character or a show.
Disney has definitely prepared for lines and have a long snake line preformed to follow.
Luckily it was only a 20 minute wait and actually moved pretty fast for as long as it was.
We got our fast pass around 10:30.
Since so many had been given out already ours couldn't even be used until 3:30!
After securing those we checked out the map to see where we wanted to begin.
We decided to go with same route are yesterday.
Start on one side of the map and make our way around.
First destination was "a bug's land"
After one ride in "a bug's land" Josh wanted to head over to Hollywood
Land right next to where we were. He really wanted to go on the Tower of Terror
before it got busier in the day.

I just have to say I LOVE this ride!
So much fun!
The kids were not fans but no one cried.
Since we were in Hollywood Land we decided to finish exploring it.
We ran into Sulley from Monster's Inc.
He had fun messing with Jordan.
Next we watched a 4D preview for Oz.
It was pretty cool besides getting rained on multiple times.
Before heading on to Grizzly Peak we went on
Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the rescue!
In Grizzly Peak we explored Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Unfortunately Grizzle River Run was closed :(
We paused for lunch after this.
Then we headed over to Paradise Pier!
First off was spinning around in spaceships on Golden Zephyr

Dropping up and down {slowly} on Jumpin' Jellyfish |

Road a {mini} roller coaster on Goofy's Sky School |

Then it was time to do California Screamin'
The high speed roller coaster.
It launches you from zero to 55 miles per hour in four seconds at the start.

I told myself it is the year of trying new things out of your comfort zone.
You have zip lined and shot a gun.
You can do this.
There was one point where I was ready to bolt but
I knew deep down I wanted to give it a try.
Plus I had to be brave for Jordan.
I went on it and loved it!
I even kept my eyes up during the loop!
We didn't make Michelle go on it.
She was having a melt down.
Jordan wasn't a fan but he did it!
Afterwards the kids got ice cream.
The watched and ate ice cream while Josh and I
did the roller coaster again.
They saw us and waved at us before we shot off.

Next up was the big ferris wheel.
Again Michelle was having nothing to do with
going on it so we let her wait for us while the three of us did.
You could choose a swinging car or non swinging.
We of course chose swigging.
If you get motion sickness I would go non swinging.
They even have barf bags in the cars.

It was nearing the time to go use our fast past for
Radiator Springs Racers so we headed over to Cars Land.
I loved Cars Land!
The way they have it set up is like walking through the movie.

It was super nice having the fast pass.
We waited in line, enjoyed the ride,
and were out there in less then 20 minutes!
The wait time with out it was over an hour!
The end was a lot of fun where you got to race another car.
I wish we had the time to do it again but an over
hour long wait wasn't thrilling anyone.

After the ride we headed over to Cozy Cone Motel for
something to drink and a snack break.
During this time they brought out Lightning McQueen for pics.
Even Mater came rolling in as we were leaving.
While in Cars Land we also went on Mater's Junkyard Jamborree.
We were able to convince the kids to do Tower of Terror.
On the way we ran into Flick while walking through "a bug's life"
Flick couldn't get the lid of Jordan's pen so he tried to eat it.
Jordan thought this was quite entertaining and
even patted his back to get him to burp it up.

Since we were over in Paradise Pier Josh and I want to do
California Screamin' one more time. Adults need a little fun too!
All the rides close down early in Paradise Pier for the World of Color
show at 8pm. This was going to be our official last ride at Disney.

The actually restaurant was closed already but you could sit outside
and order appetizers. We didn't want to leave the park so that is what we did.
Kids were getting tired at this point.

I loved the World of Color show!
It is a water, light and fire show set to music and tells Disney stories!

Fun was had by all.
I left out the parts where there were tears, whining,
unnecessary child trying to parent another child, ect.
It is the happiest place on earth and that is exactly how we will remember it!
