perfect summer day

Today I had my ideal perfect summer day!

I made plans with my sisters Jana and Christine with all the kiddos

to go pick strawberries before the season ended.

I wanted this trip to be a for the experience with no high expectations.

The kids picked until they were done!

We washed hands, paid for berries, and headed back.

On the walk back a guy who works at Boxx Berries was driving back in his gator

and asked the kids if they wanted a ride.

Jordan was so excited!

He had the biggest smile on his face the whole ride!

We let the kids play at the playground for a bit before leaving.

The plan afterwards was to head to my parents house

for a pool party!

My mom picked up pizza for everyone and we spent the afternoon swimming!

It was nice to lay out and listen to the kids playing happily together in the pool.

Around 4:30pm we packed up to head home for a bit before Jordan's swim lessons!

Michelle went to hang out with her friend next door.

Josh stayed in Bellingham to play in a baseball game.

Jordan and I headed to his lessons at Homestead.

Jordan did great again at his swim lessons.

He loves to give me thumbs up after he does a task.

  

Afterwards Jordan and I went and got ice cream!

He was super tired after a long day.

He relaxed to a show and was out like a light.
