Friday morning we headed out to the raspberry festival
to watch Jordan play in the 3 on 3 tournament.
Josh was coaching his team.
Something he has talked about doing since he was born.
We only had 3 players something we will make sure doesn't happen next year.
Game 1
The first game one of our boys refused to play so we had to borrow a
player from another team.
The boys did great!
Game 2
We had a break in between games and are third guy decided he was ready to play!
Halfway through the game Jordan had a melt down after
getting hit in the face with the ball.
He then got hit in the face by another player and that was it.
We called a break and got him recovered
with the promise of ice cream after.
His well deserved ice cream!
Game 3
All three boys were ready to go!
The one game with no injuries!
We again had another break so Jordan got some cotton candy!
He was all excited about his next game!
Game 4
5 minutes before the game he went out to practice, fell, and skinned up his knee.
At the sight of blood he started screaming and crying.
Wouldn't let us touch it or put a band aid on it.
Playing was out of the question.
Josh finally got a band aid on it and then I got him to calm down by
talking about playing mario afterwards.
We rolled up his pant leg (his one request) and sent him out there!
He went out there and rocked it!
Halfway through the game another boy got head bonked
and was done so we again had to borrow a player.
You can see now why we NEED a 4th player!
Afterwards we headed home tired from the day.
The time actually went really fast but all the ups and downs
emotionally were tiring.
Josh packed up and left for the weekend for a softball tournament in Canada.
The kids and I grabbed McDonalds and watched America's got Talent.
Saturday I woke up bright and early to set up for a garage sale
I was having with my sister.
We did the sale for the morning until about noon then we were over it.
Jana was hosting a diaper party at my mom's at 1pm.
Michelle really wanted to check out the raspberry festival so
we left Jordan with Gramma and went with our neighbors
to watch their son play in a few of his games.
Got the kids home, made dinner, Michelle went to a friend's house for
a sleepover, and I was in bed by 10.
Sunday was going to be my put the house back in order and clean day
but decided last minute to drive an hour into Canada to catch Josh's championship game!
Surprisingly I didn't get lost which I am famous for.
I forgot to put the address into google so my directions stopped as soon as I reached the freeway exit
so I had to find it on my own from there.
At least I don't mind stopping and asking directions when needed.
We actually made it to watch the half of one game and then the
championship game!
They won the whole tournament!
Go team Posse!
We grabbed some dinner on our way home and again we were all in bed early.
It was a go go busy weekend.
Next weekend will be the same with a tournament in Ferndale!
At least that is 20 minutes away and I can easily get there!
