October in a nut shell

I didn't get around to posting to much this month.

So you are in for a big post.

Friday

October 5th

Back at the very beginning of October 

we celebrated Josh's 29th birthday.

He happened to have his last softball tournament that

day/weekend too.

The kids were super excited to serve him donuts in bed.

  

I put together a fun basket of most of Josh's

favorite things!

We had to head out fairly quickly to go across the border

to Canada for the tournament.

The boys had fun in the back with their DS games.

Saturday

October 6th

On Saturday I got to send the kids along with Josh

to his softball tournament.

I got to stay behind and enjoy a quiet house.

That evening I got to go out and celebrate 

Danielle's 30th birthday!

Sunday

October 7th

We again headed back to Canada for day 3 of the tournament.

They ended up winning the whole the tournament.

Josh hit a grand slam home run in the last game to help win it.

That is an awesome way to end the season!

Before the weather turned for the worse we managed to get to the pumpkin patch.

We decided before hand we would get two smaller ones for the kids to decorate

and one big one for us all to carve.

Friday 

October 19

 I had planned to make donuts and 

pumpkin muffins to eat while we watch a movie.

Last minute Josh ended up taking the kids to the Lynden vs Ferndale game.

Jordan was so excited to go and loved it.

When they got home I had donuts and hot chocolate waiting for them.

Sunday

October 21

We made cookies as a family.

This was a first for us it didn't quite go picture perfect

but still fun and a learning experience.

Thursday

October 25th

After school on Thursdays my nephews come to hang out!

I decided to take them all swimming.

We had the pool to ourselves which was nice.

Monday

October 29

After the dentist Jordan decided he needed to clean up the leaves.

Tuesday

October 30th

I get to go help in Jordan's class on Tuesday's mornings.

This morning I got to help the kids design and carve a pumpkin.

Wednesday

October 31

For Halloween Josh took the kids out trick or treating while I stayed

home and handed out candy.

This is the first year I have done that.

It is fun to see all the different costumes.

I did of course take a ton of pictures before they kids left.

I even got all the cousin's to be here at the same time 

so we could get a group one of them.

Welcome November!
