Fun in the Sun | Cultus Lake water Park

The last Thursday in July Josh took the day off and we went as a family

to the Cultus Lake Water Park! We had a much needed electronic free family 

time together! Michelle is turning into quite the thrill seeker like Josh and they did every 

single ride. Jordan is try's his best to keep up and played the hardest today out of everyone!

Fun in the Sun | Larrabee

Last year {2013} we made a trip out to Larrabee and the kids loved it.

It is a beach off of Samish bay in Bellingham. There are lots of tide pools 

to explore, rocks to climb and water to swim in! A couple Tuesdays

ago we made the trip again and the kids had just as much fun.

Last Tuesday for our field trip we got a group of friends together

and headed to Semiahmoo beach! The kids had a great time spreading out

and exploring. Jordan and his cousins were also super brave and went in

the water! The time went quickly and before we knew it we had to head

home for swim lessons. Will definitely be making another trip there before summer is over!

It was a ton of fun to have all my nephews there!

They all love spending time with one another.

Fun in the sun | Hovander Park

Last Wednesday we again got out to enjoy summer break!

We loaded up into my sister in law's van and headed over to Hovander 

Park to explore Tennant Lake and then head over to the park for lunch.

At the lake there is a fragrance garden where you are encouraged to touch

and smell the flowers and herbs.  There is also a tall observation tower look out.
