Christmas eve morning was pretty mellow.
Josh went into work and to do some last minute shopping.
Jordan and I hung out at the house.
Michelle went the day before to spend the night at Josh's parents
house to help prep for Christmas eve.
We did wake up to see Sunshine under the tree with a letter
saying that we had permission for one day to hold, touch and
say goodbye to Sunshine before he returned to the north pole for the year.
Jordan was hesitant to touch him at first but once he did Sunshine went every
where with us for the day even church!
Jana messaged us in the morning to see if we wanted to go for cookies
at the Lynden Dutch Bakery. We were up for an outing to help pass the morning!
We went to the Christmas Eve service at church which I loved.
It was fun to pause and remember what we are really celebrating
and I love singing Christmas songs! Jordan sat through the service
and did awesome! He even won the kid category in the Ugly Sweater
contest they had a couple weeks ago! He got a gift card to DQ.
He was super excited!
Christmas Eve this year was spent at Josh's parents house.
They put together a fun little party with an ugly sweater contest,
games and a white elephant gift exchange.
Josh got third in the ugly sweater contest.
Jordan and Josh's team got first in the reindeer games.
The kids got spoiled with gifts, to much food was eaten and fun
was had by all! All these pics were taken on my iPhone because
I forgot my camera. At least it is captured.
