mini photo shoot {4th of July}

It took me a few days after the 4th to do this but glad I did.
The kids were fairly cooperative with the promise of their choice of
lunch out afterwards. We just went to Berthusan Park found some shade
and were out of there in about 30 minutes!
Here are my favorites!

Spirit wear & last day of school wrap up

Well it's official!! School is out for the summer!!
I am excited for a more relaxed and fun schedule!

Yesterday was crazy hair or hat day.
I cant really do anything crazy with Jordan's hair so
we went with a hat! Now that I think about it we could
have give him a Mohawk. He is due for a hair cut.
Anyways here are yesterdays pictures.

That evening I got Michelle to go out with me to get a few end of the year
pictures of her too. It is hard to get her before she goes out in the morning.

Today for Spirit wear it was formal dress day.
The 5th graders had their moving on ceremony and
the 1st graders got to sing a song to them.

I hung around after the ceremony to have lunch with Jordan's class,
hang out for recess and went to class for a bit. The kids
ended the day hearing a story, playing hang man, Jordan's teacher handed
out awards to each child and then they played heads up 7 up.

Once the children were released I got a kick picture of Jordan with
his teacher and his two best buddies. These three are a ton of fun
but also a huge ball of energy when together. I tried to get a picture
but you can see from below they just have to be silly all the time :)

After school Jordan's buddy Ethan came over to play.
Right now they are dumping baby soap all over the slip n slide
and playing! I think we may walk to Edaleen for ice cream once they are done.
Hello Summer!!
I am off to watch the boys play!

week long birthday celebration!

On Tuesday we celebrated Michelle turning 13!
I LOVE birthdays including my own and love making the day
as special as I can. Michelle requested apple fritters for breakfast.
The night before I picked some up along with a ton of balloons.
In the morning I told her a quick Happy birthday before she left for school.
Later that day I picked Ezzy and we delivered subway along with the balloons.
I decided that balloons needed more so on the way we quick grabbed candy
to tie on each balloon. We also grabbed chips, pop and cookies to go with her
sub! When we got to school I set Ezzy up on the table with the balloons.
One her friends came in and saw us and told we should move to the table where
they always sit and she would distract Michelle. We got positioned right before
she walked in. Her friends were super sweet and loved the baby! They all sang Happy
Birthday to her in the cafeteria. We didn't stay to long but we went by her core classroom
to grab balloons and flowers other friends had brought her.

After school she had two friends over to hang out I took them to Edaleen for ice cream.

I also made her reenact her eating an apple fritter and blowing out candles.

Later we met Josh at Dickie's for dinner before she went to bones at church and Josh
to softball. Her birthday present the past few years has been a shopping trip with me.
I did buy her a few goodies and gift cards so she had something open on her birthday.

Friday night she had friends over for pizza and then I drove them down to Arlington to Absolute Air.
It is an indoor trampoline place. On the way home we got blizzards and called it a night.

Saturday afternoon after the parade and Jordan's baseball BBQ we headed out shopping.
We went to wal-mart, Ross and then the mall. She ended up with clothes, stuff from bath and body
works and a long board! She has been wanting a long board for a long time. Apparently she is tired of
walking and thought it would be fun to have for the summer to ride with her friends!
I still need to get some pictures of her riding it. I am sure there will be a photo session
of that soon!
