Memorial Day Weekend

This was a fun, extra long, relaxing weekend.

Josh headed out Friday morning for a guy camping trip in Leavenworth.

Jordan went to the Glen with my parents.

Michelle spent the day at a friend's house.

I got to spent a quiet day at home laying in the sun and soaking it up.

Friday night I headed into Bellingham to get party supplies for michelle's birthday next weekend.

Saturday Michelle and I awoke early and headed to the Glen.

We got there around 10 and set up camp!

The kids and I borrowed Jana's tent to sleep in for the night.

This is a first for all of us.

The kids loved the tent including Cohen.

We spent the day relaxing by the fire, enjoying sunshine, playing toys, reading books, swimming, riding bikes, cooking food, and enjoying family time together.

After a long day Jordan was in bed by 7 and passed out.

He didn't wake up until 7:30!

We enjoy a delicious breakfast made by gramma.

Eggs, bacon, and pancakes!

For the morning activity we went down the river to throw rocks.

After the river we made some lunch and s'mores.

Then packed up camp to head home.

I unloaded the car and through it in a big pile.

I decided to leave it there and deal with it tomorrow and go relax with the neighbors!

Josh got home around 11 today.

Jordan and I were relaxing at home and Michelle was a friend's house.

We spent the day hanging out with neighbors and eating pizza.

Jordan had a great time playing with his toys that he hasn't seen in days 

and running around with all the neighbor boys playing nerf war.

Sunny Days

I have some blog catching up to do!

Blogger has not been friend that past couple of weeks.

I couldn't open the link to make a new post.

But at last I can so I can share what we have been up to again!

We have have some amazing weather this past week!

It has been sunny and warm {even hot}.

We have been taking full advantage of it and been outside a ton.

Bqqing, water play, fun with neighborhood kids, sleepover with cousins, swimming at Homestead,
lounging around the yard, neighborhood basketball games, riding bikes, going on walks, yard work,
reading in the sun, chatting with neighbors, caught up on project for month of March, ice cream,
and for me much more relaxing outside in the sun!

  Friday night Josiah and Eli spent the night.
Josiah had a baseball game in the morning so Eli stayed to play.
He suggested swimming at Homestead
and I agreed that was a great idea!

 Saturday afternoon it was warm enough the kids pulled out the pool
and squirt guns for water fun!

Wednesday night Jordan and I went swimming at Homestead while Josh worked out.
We had a great time playing with a beach ball hitting it back and forth.
Afterwards Josh and Jordan headed to Edaleen Dairy for icecream.

I have more then loved having over a week of beautiful warm sunshine!
I am very sad that is slowing cooling down and rain is in the future.
I am making big plans for summertime!
