what the kids are up

Josh and I are currently on vacation in Vegas!

We are here in a house with his entire softball team for Worlds.

We will move to the strip for a few days on Monday.

I will share all about our when we get back!

But I wanted to share with you what the kids have been up to with Gramma!

She has my two kiddos along with two of my nephews.

My brother and sister in law are on vacation with us.

My mom is amazing with shuttling the kids around to sports,

getting homework done and getting them fed.

Thursday

Sunday Sunday

Today is my finally day in this week long adventure!

I am so glad I did it to capture this time in our lives.

I am also glad to be done because it is a lot of work to remember 

to grab for the camera and capture the day!

Even kidless I still woke up fairly early.

I made myself some coffee and checked facebook.

Today at the hotel we were staying at my Aunt was getting married!

That is the reason why we stayed down the night before.

It was a lot of fun to see family that I only get to see once or twice a year.

We made it home in time for the Seahawk game!

The kids were there waiting for us with my sister in law 

who watched them overnight for us!

We had a very relaxing evening watching the game, listening to the thunder,

watching the lightning and playing on electronics.

Michelle did have some homework to finish up.

Saturday Saturday

Today was an on the go day.

I dropped my kids off at my mom's shortly after nine.

From there I grabbed breakfast, went tanning, filled up the tank with 40 cents off 

a gallon at Safeway and hit road to go watch Josh play in a softball tournament.

They ended up going undefeated (5-0) to take 1st place.

After the tournament is was already 7 o clock so we went for dinner

and went to our hotel room.  I was pretty tired and out like a light.

Friday Friday

TGIF!

I decided to take this morning off from working out.

I have been overly tired and a little crabby from lack of sleep.

When I got up Jordan was already on the ipad in his bed.

Trying to mix up the pictures I take of our morning I took a picture of 

Jordan's closet when I picked out his clothes of the day.

 

Today was pay day so as soon as the boys where on the bus

I paid all the bills and balanced the check book.

I want to make a project life style album of our summer.

It is my favorite time of the year and we have so much fun!

I wrote down all the major events in each month to organize what I want to include.

Playing outside in the sunshine with the kiddos.

I am in desperate need of a pedicure.

Monday I am getting one before Vegas!

Michelle went to the high school football game with friends.

Josh bbqed dinner.

After dinner Jordan really wanted to throw the football around.

Unfortunately once we rode bike to the little park he was having a 

terrible attitude, wasn't trying and making up excuses for everything.

I rode my bike to my sister's house to snuggle my nephews.

When I got home they had cut their hair, had showers and were snuggling in bed.

 

Thursday Thursday

Since our day is pretty routine and looks the same day to day 

I am trying to work on getting different views of the same old happenings.

Day started bright and early with the gym.

When I returned I found Michelle on the ipad checking out instagram.

I made her get off and finish getting ready for school.

Shortly after Jordan came down and wanted to snuggle.

I tried to get some decent pictures of us.

Once Jordan and his buddy were off on the bus I quickly showered

and headed out to run errands. Today is my kid free day!

This is my day for errands, appointments, deep cleaning and relaxation of course!

After I return from Vegas I will start volunteering in Jordan's class.

Errands today were Wal-mart, Michaels, subway for lunch, a massage,

followed by Starbucks on the way home! I brought my camera along but

I still feel weird pulling it out in stores and such.

I actually took a few iphone pictures today.

I have been trying not since that is what I mainly use

and I am trying to use this week to break myself of that.

When I got home I had an hour before Jordan got home.

I checked out my Michaels purchase!

 Michaels is a very dangerous place for me.

They have project life now!

And every single scrap booking brand is now using the same idea 

so there is SO much fun stuff!!!  I finally just had to walk away.

All albums including theirs were 40% off plus I had a 15% off my entire purchase.

I got two albums, five packs of journal cards that were on clearance for $1.99 each, 

got a pack of pages and limited myself to three more packs of journal cards.

I checked Facebook since I went a couples hours with out!

Yes I have a Facebook addiction like a lot of others out there.

Then I figured I should be productive so I did clean my bathroom

while dancing to music! Music makes everything more fun I think!

Once Jordan was home we had to head right back out the door

to take Michelle to the orthodontist to get spacers put in.

Then it was home for dinner which was a whatever night.

I finished the other half of my sub and the kids had chicken nuggets with tator tots.

Michelle worked on homework while Jordan had garbage day up in his room.

We then headed back out the door  for flag football practice.

Michelle stayed home to finish homework and to clean her room and bathroom.

After practice was over Jordan asked to stay longer and do some more one on

one practice with Josh. He kept getting frustrated when he couldn't catch the ball.

He would make up excuses and have a bad attitude. 

But he kept with it until he made a few good catches

and ran one in for a touch down!

Once home it was shower, snuggle time with daddy watching football, reading and bed.

Both kids are usually in bed between 8:00 and 8:30.

Even Michelle. She has been so tired with fast pitch practice. She is allowed to hang out

in her room to read, write, draw, listen to music ect until 9:00 then it is lights out.

Josh and I are usually in bed right after they are to watch shows.

With getting up so early I like to have lights out at 10:30 at the latest.
