Mother's Day Weekend

Friday I spent the day driving to and from Seattle picking Josh up at the airport.
He has been in Arizona for a week.  On my way I stopped to pick up my mom's
bday gift from everyone a new fire pit!

Saturday we relaxed and celebrated my mom's birthday with brownies and icecream!

Sunday I got to sleep in, enjoy breakfast in bed before church,
gifts including the new phone I have been wanting, and a day of relaxation!

Easter eggs and a slide

May 3
Tuesday

We still have Easter eggs in our sensory tub so today Jordan decided he wanted to play with them.  First we had Easter egg hunt after Easter egg hunt around the house.  Later when we went on our walk to the "little park" Jordan and the kids had an Easter egg hunt there which turned into sending them down the slide and catching them in buckets.

Sunday Afternoon

Sunday afternoon
May 1

This morning we dropped Josh off at the airport for his work trip to Arizona, headed to church, and then to Bender for a picnic lunch with gramma.

We ate lunch, relaxed, the kids played and went on an exploration walk with gramma.

Later that afternoon the neighbors were going on a bike ride and invited Jordan to come along.  He still hadn't mastered his big boy bike so I explained to him that he wouldn't be able to go on his trike because he wouldn't be able to keep up.  After hearing this he was determined to learn to ride his bike boy bike.
He was successful and I am so proud of him for sticking with it and not giving up!

Easter Sunday

We started off the day with an awesome church service done
together by Pastor Kim & Pastor Kurt!

Then we headed up home so I could put the finishing touches
on my cupcakes and gather up the eggs and baskets.

We had an untraditional Easter Lunch and it was so good.  BBQ sliders, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, fresh fruit, and a twice baked potato salad! Yum!

While the kids finished up their lunch mom, Jana, Christine,
Chuck and I headed outside to hide over 200 eggs!

Chuck decided to help himself to a pocketful of candy and didn't want to leave the eggs empty for the children so filled them with rocks and bark.  Thanks Uncle Chuck.

At least the kids thought it was funny when opening their eggs and would find one.
It was quite the process opening all their eggs and putting the goods into baggies.

After the hunt was time for dessert and relaxation!  I made cupcakes and Oreo brownies!
