Day to Day Introduction

Welcome to Day to Day and all about the life of the Drummond Family!
I want a place to start writing about all the little things that happen day to day so I can remember all the special moments forty years from now!
I want to start by writing a "Christmas" letter to tell myself and all you what each of us has been up to.
We will start with the man of the house

A couple of months ago Josh started his journey of getting hired on with Edward Jones.  He went through several interviews, passed numerous tests, door knocked in the rain, snow, wind, up hill and now finally getting close to his graduation date where he can finally have his own clients!  He has been working 70+ hours a week and in May he goes back to Arizona where he will graduate!  We are looking forward to that!
He hasn't had a lot of spare time for much else.  He does still do poker night most Thursdays and enjoys playing kinect bowling on the weekends...He is still trying for a perfect game!
Softball season is starting up and he has his first tournament in Sumas this weekend.

I have been busy with living day by day!  My day starts early with getting to the gym, then coming home and taking care of the house and kids, and finally relaxing a little before heading to bed.  I am still watching kids and have 2 part time kids and 2 full time kids aged from 9 months to 4 years old.  When I am not busy cleaning and taking care of kiddos I enjoy planning preschool activities for Jordan, checking out face book, blogging or reading other blogs, working out, watching tv, or relaxing any way I can.  I don't end up with to much me time so I am usually pretty lazy by the end of the day.  I have been taking Saturdays as a me day which is usually running errands and occasionally getting a pedicure!
I am looking forward to spring/summer and more sunshine to get out on walks. Also, I get to plan a tupperware party, baby shower for Jana, b-day parties for the kids, and maybe a vacation in the coming months!

Michelle is entering her tween years and out growing her toys and is all about playing with friends after school.
It is really nice because this year she has a group of friends and most of them live with in a block or two. We are in the process of talking about a room makeover that will be more of a hang out place.
Michelle has also been meeting at Christ the King Church every Tuesday and practicing for a skit they will be performing at the Easter Extravaganza on Easter weekend.  She has a speaking part and she already has it memorized but is nervous about talking into a microphone.
She is doing great with school and was very excited to finish box 4 in Math a dot ahead of schedule and move on to box 5 which is Crazy math!

She had a Spring concert tonight at school and sang with both the 4th grade classes and Honor Choir.

Jordan is a busy busy boy.  With friends to play with every day and quite the imagination he is always doing something.   His LOVE or OBSESSION right now is Mario.  Either playing it on Wii, DS, or pretend it is what he is always doing.  So if he comes up to you and says Cough Cough and starts chomping at you he is being a flower.  He loves to pull out his marble run, stacking tubs, and dinosaurs and setting up mario levels complete with castles.

He still loves numbers, telling time, following a schedule, and most recently trying to write his name.

He makes Mario maps galore! We can always pick his paper out at Sunday School because it has the curvy line all over it with dots along the whole thing!

Jordan loves to play basketball inside and outside but is quickly frustrated when he misses to many shots in a row.
