Simple Snapshots

Saturday we spent the day down south in Everett for Josh's softball tournament.
He was dying to play catch with daddy in between games.
Thankfully for game breaks he got his chance.

Flashback Friday

I get the opportunity to help out in Jordan's class once a week
and attend most activities, parties and field trips.

This got me thinking back to when Michelle was in Kindergarten.
Even though I didn't get to volunteer regularly in her class
I was able to attend most of her class activities, parties, concerts
and field trips.  I decided for this flashback Friday to share some of Michelle's
Kindergarten class pictures of events I was able to attend!
Michelle attended Kindergarten {2006-2007} at Fisher.

Michelle got to bring Jordan as her show and tell!
Aren't they just so cute?!
As you can see the class loved meeting him!

Michelle's spring concert

Mother's day tea
I can still remember one of the songs they sang to us.
I love my mom

I was able to find the song here if you would like to listen.
I searched for a good twenty minutes for a video but I haven't
found one in my picture archives.

End of the year field day!

pb & jelly

Yesterday went really smoothly.
After I had my breakfast and coffee I got the itch to clean/gut
the kitchen.  I think it started with me putting away dishes.
I then wanted to go through every cupboard, pull everything out,
wipe clean, donate what I haven't used in a long time, toss things that expired
and then put it all neatly back on the shelves.
Everything was going along great until I got to the food.
First an entire box of rice fell all over everything.  Felt a little discouraged
but cleaned it up and got back to work only to have an entire bag of
flour fall from the top shelf down all over everything.
I was over it then.
So our vitamin/misc cupboard didn't get done.

Since I was already creating messes in the kitchen
and  I had put Jordan off long enough on lunch I decided
why not let him make his own pb and jelly sandwich when he asked.

It was pretty cute process to watch.
A lot of peanut butter was licked right out of the jar.

After a little "quiet" time we went and picked up Michelle, Josiah & Eli
for birthday ice cream!  I had told Josiah a while back that I would get him a
sundae from Edaleen dairy around his birthday.
He ended up choosing the death by chocolate sundae!
He was really sweet and offered everyone a bite.

Jordan actually had a rain free picture day and practice!
He is doing create at t ball and really loves it!
He starts games next week!
