slept in a little bit today past seven!
Cohen got to come play for a bit while Jana
had to go in for a second glucose tolerance test.
Yuck!
We had our breakfast, got dishes done, Cohen ate half of my smoothie,
then wanted more oatmeal, played a little and then headed out for a walk.
We didn't see any ducks at the creek but he was still excited to see about
everything there was to see. He even saw {or heard} an airplane to
which he pointed and yelled at the sky for some time.
As you can tell by these pictures it was a pretty exciting walk!
As we were walking back we saw gramma dropping off Michelle.
We went to go say hi.
We then discovered that there was a possum by our front steps.
My mom was ready to kill it with a shovel but as nasty as possums
are I couldn't let her kill it. It is kind of cute. I felt really bad for it
because it was really scared. I tried having the neighbor's dog bark at it
to hopefully get it to run somewhere else. That didn't work.
I tried poking it and nothing. Just hissed at us.
I called the animal control people and they said to soak a rag in
ammonia or bleach. I had neither but I did have vinegar.
I went out there are started dumping it all over the steps
and on the possum. He took off so fast and didn't see where he ended up.
He survived another day but I am not sure the next people who
find him will be so nice to him.

The rest of the afternoon/evening was spent bathing Jordan {he actually smelled}
having quiet time, menu planning, dinner, I took a bath while Josh & Jordan did "man"
things in the garage and playing on electronics!
Now Josh is off at poker,
Jordan is fast asleep, Michelle has a friend over for a
sleepover and I am blogging.
