basketball time

Jordan just finished up his second week in games this weekend.
He is playing through the YMCA.
He has games every Friday and Saturday night for the next couple of week.
He has all night games which I am loving way better then the 8 am Saturday morning games.
Well he has one of those this weekend coming up.
He is so much more confident this year after having last year to lean the game.
He is also do way better on defense.
Last year he would just run straight to the basket and stand under it waiting for the ball.
Now he is on his guy and moving around a lot more.
He still gets a bad attitude if he thinks he is not getting the ball enough.
On Saturday he rocked the whole game with both defense and shooting the ball.
He made his daddy very proud.
Josh is also helping to coach the team.
His team name is the Blue Sharks.

I will try not to overload you with pictures since I have about 100
from each game so far. I will try to keep it to a few favorites.
Jordan is #1 so look for him!

Whatcom falls, shots, and icecream

The title about sums up Tuesday for us.
I have been trying to do items off our fun in the sun list!
Since we were already going to be in Bellingham so Michelle could get a
shot I figured I would take the kids to Whatcom Falls.
This is a park that they have never been too.
We packed a lunch and ate that upon arrival.
The kids were not to thrilled about our adventure through the  woods
and the sites to see.
I was hoping to walk around the trails but Jordan kept stating this is boring.
We lasted about 20 minutes.
Long enough to see some falls, watch a guy jump in off the rocks,
and for Jordan to throw a few sticks & pine cones.
It was one of those trips you envision in your head as being a great idea
but doesn't go exactly the way thought.
They did still some fun.

Afterwards we walked over to see the fish hatchery.
They had trout from itty bitty up to huge ones!
The kids had a little more fun with that.

It was a lot shorter visit then I had planned so before Michelle's appointment
I went by Dollar Tree for some stuff for Jordan's party.

We got to Michelle's appointment a little early.
Michelle started to get really nervous about her shot.
I told her was like a pinch and she even let me pinch her to show her.

Michelle Stats
age 11
weight- 86 pounds (55%)
height- 59 inches (75%)
She just needs to grow about an inch and she will be as tall as me :(

After the long awaited shot we went for ice cream!
Ice cream makes everything better :)

Jordan convincing Michelle to let him try a lick of her ice cream.

We spent the rest of the afternoon hang out outside!
Before bed Josh and Jordan did some basketball practicing.
Josh is coaching Jordan's 3 on 3 basketball team
this Friday at the Raspberry Festival.
