mini {halloween} party

On Friday with the kiddos I watch we had a little mini party
for Halloween.  I know how much fun it is for them to come dressed up in their costumes.
I just planned a few things because I have a small group and their
ages vary from months old to 5 years old!
Here is some of the fun we had!

We did pumpkin painting.
Mia and Lisey also made cats.
I think they turned out pretty cute.

After I got painting cleaned up we decorated cupcakes.
There were sprinkles everywhere but it was all in the fun!

We had a little time before lunch so we headed out to attempt a group picture
and go for a walk to check out the ducks.

I had to make a cute lunch.
It is a party!
Again the kids loved it.
They ate more then usual which is a bonus!
Might have to make fun healthy food more often.

After lunch and quiet time with books we watched Despicable Me!
We hardly ever watch tv or movies so this is always a bonus!
I made them a snack to eat during the movie with monster eyes in it.

It was a fun successful mini party.
Way may have to have a mini Thanksgiving feast
and a pajama party before Christmas!

to the pond

Today it is just Jordan, Cohen and I until after school.
Then I will have four very energetic boys getting off the bus to join us.
I was hoping it wouldn't rain until later so we could spend some time
outside but mother nature is not on my side.

The three of did get outside this morning for a while.
We went over to the pond by the golf course to feed the ducks.
Not the best path for a toddler still learning to keep his balance while
walking. It happens to slant towards the pond so toddler tends to lean
and fall that direction. Luckily no one fell in.  I did have a mini
talk in my head that if one of the boys did fall in
I would have to go in too no matter how gross it is.

The boys had a great time.
Cohen didn't want to leave.
He kept pulling me the other direction or plopping down
in protest but we eventually made it.
