Busy, Busy

This weekend was a lot of fun!
I really LOVE the weekends.
I wish they could be a little longer and the time could slow down too.

Friday night I went over to Jana's to for a diaper party!
We cut, sewed, and ironed  itty bitty diapers for local hospitals.
Jana wrote all about our night on her blog Keeping up with the Kimmels!
I actually for once didn't take a ton of pictures because I was busy playing with cute babies
and cutting out diapers.
Michelle came with me and she was the photographer for the night with Jana's camera.
We got around 120 diapers done!

Saturday we  headed out fairly early to head down to Everett to watch
Josh play in an one day softball tournament.
The kids did amazingly well.
They went to the park together and Michelle was loving taking pictures.
Michelle was awesome with Jordan and even gave him piggy back ride back from the park.

{told Michelle she better take a picture of the phone because you won't see them much longer}

We had breaks between each game.
So we went to the car to eat and chill out.

They ended up losing their 2nd and 3rd game.
The 3rd game went in to extra innings due to a tie but the other team scored once to end the game.

After the tournament we went to Applebee's in Bellingham for dinner.
Jordan had a meltdown when we first got there.
He pulled his fingernail off which resulted in it bleeding.
Add on top of that a long day.
He was a crying mess.
But once our waiter came and it was time to order he was fine.
Towards the end the kids were being super cute
and whisper back and forth.
In a while we found out what they were talking about.
They were trying to get each other to ask us to go to ice cream after.

Sunday we were planning to to go to church.
But after a long day and staying up a little to late
two nights in a row we ended up over sleeping.
But we still had a big day!
Josh and Jordan mowed the lawn.
Jordan LOVES helping with yard work.
Usually he follows Josh around with his Little Tikes lawn mower.
Today he got to help push the mower for the first time!

Afterwards he wanted to go play with the neighbor boys who had come outside.
Later Josh took the training wheels off his bike so he could ride.
He rode all by himself no problems.

Well...one problem is stubborn attitude help him back a little.
He doesn't like doing new things unless it is something he wants to do.
But we told him we were not putting the training wheels back on.
He then started crying and was done.

So we moved on and trimmed bushes.
He got out his gator to fill up with branches to take to the yard waste.
The rest of the day was spent with the guys playing outside until bed time.
They did come in for dinner!

The last couple of weekends the weather has been great!
I just being able to spend them outdoors and doing things as a family.
I love this time of year and am excited for the next few months leading into summer!
