weekend update

Another week that flew by and another weekend enjoyed!

Friday night Michelle hung out at her friend's house.

They had no school today so they picked her up in the morning.

They headed off to the store to buy stuff to make muffins.

She ended up spending the night so we didn't see her for the rest of the day.

Josh, Jordan, and I hung out around the house.

Dinner was whatever you felt like eating or making yourself.

Jordan ended up staying up pretty late hanging with Josh and I.

Saturday Josh went into work for a little bit.

Jordan went to his friend's house to play for a few hours.

I got a few quiet hours to myself.

I ended up going back to bed and sleeping.

Josh came home and left again to work out.

Jordan came home 

I asked him about his play date and this is what I got:

We played Mario on the tv,

then we played train tracks,

the girls were playing mario and then we started playing the wii,

We had p.b and jelly for lunch and apple juice,

we watched a movie,

we did not have snack when we were there,

and then we had Doritos in the car.

 I let him stay up but I could tell he was tired

 so he watched a movie, played wii, and  played DS for quiet time

Michelle came home.

Josh made dinner.

I helped by taking pictures, making the rice, and doing dishes.

The kids disappeared upstairs and cleaned their rooms with out being asked!

I think they missed each other and hung out together for some time.

Michelle then went to the high school musical  'Once Upon a Mattress'  with her friend.

Josh and I watched shows together.

Then he played video games.

I wasted hours on the internet.

Reading blogs, facebook, pinterest 

Repeating over and over until it is midnight 

and you start thinking about sleep.

Sunday mornings are chill.

Kids usually get up, watch tv, play DS or ipad

Michelle will get Jordan cereal for breakfast.

I love that they are old enough to get up and don't need me right away.

I can sleep a little a longer or take a shower before heading down.

We went to church this morning.

more late morning...we like to go to the 11 'o clock service.

Came home and ate a quick lunch.
Had rest time.
Much needed for all!
Then Josh wanted to work out and wanted us to come along.
There is no child care so I said I would Jordan swim.

I made Michelle come along too even though she didn't want to swim.
She read a book and played on her ipod touch.

Josh worked out and then swam with Jordan for a while.
Jordan absolutely loved it and didn't stop smiling the whole time!

We got home Josh and I made some dinner.
I love when we cook dinner together.
Makes it a little more fun!
We made all the fixins for tacos.

The kids were hungry and ate a ton!
After we got everything cleaned up
we watched American Idol,
and put the kidlets to bed.
Josh did some work and I made this post!
