Preschool Pumpkin Patch Trip

On Thursday Jordan's preschool class went to the Boxx Berry Farm pumpkin patch.  It poured that morning but luckily it held up for the trip.  Jordan was so excited to go and that I was coming with him.  He did have a bit of a melt down before we left about having to wear boots so I was a little worried.

When he first got around his friends he was well himself.  Very silly and energetic.  I was pleased to see that his two little friends were just as silly and crazy as he was. But he got over it quickly and stayed by my side quietly.  He was very excited to get to ride the tractor pulled wagon out to the patch.

He was very into checking out the "wheelbarrows"  which we learned are called water wheels.  He found a pumpkin and was ready to go back to the wagon.  We rode the wagon to a covered area where the kids got to go on a train ride which Jordan did not want to go on.  Instead he was very entertained with the wagons and the scale.

He would pull a wagon up see how much it weighed then add his pumpkin.  Then he would pull the wagon off, put it back on again, add the pumpkin and then himself.  Repeat the above sequence put with two wagons and this repeated itself over and over until the kids were done on their ride.  Then they had a snack of apples and juice and were free to play on the playground.

On the way back to the car I let him jump in every puddle.  He wore his boots why not.

As we were climbing in the car I told him how much fun he had and that I was so glad I could come. He said he was so glad I came too. Such a sweet man.
