Due Date Party

I am so EXCITED to finally give Jana her Due Date Party!  I wanted it to be a time to celebrate Jana and Cohen but also remember Carter.

We had a table set up to display pictures of Cohen, Carter & Cohen's build a bears, a canvas mom had made in memory of Carter, and two little blue ducks someone gave Jana as a gift for the boys.  Jana also brought her picture book of Carter that a photographer came in and took at the hospital.

Since all of us girls were together it is the perfect time for a few group pics!

I made little diaper name tags and even made them into a little game.  At the end I had everyone check their diaper to see if it was dirty (a little brown dot).

Another game we did was how many words you could come up with using the letters in Cohen's full name.

The second game we did was I had a diaper bag filled with baby items and I had everyone write down what they though were important to have.  There were a lot of interesting items that I didn't think of.

And the last game was one that McKenna and Kim Smith put together where you melt the candy bars in the diaper and you have to guess what each one is.

This game had a lot of people stumped on a few.

After games it was time for presents!  Cohen is one lucky little man and got a lot of cute clothes and some much needed items for when he comes home like diapers, stroller, bumbo seat and much more.  There were even a few gifts for Carter.

The afternoon was a lot of fun and glad that Jana finally got to have her shower.  It was something she was really looking forward to and is always great to see friends and family.
