school field trip | Semiahmoo beach

Last Wednesday I got to go along with Jordan's class for their last field trip as 1st graders!

They have been studying sea life so they took a trip to Semiahmoo beach to explore.

The day started out raining but by the time we got to the beach the sun was out!

We saw a ton of star fish, sand dollars, crabs, shells and more.

We explored for our an hour before eating lunch. After lunch the tide was way

out so there were a ton of tide pools to explore!

It was a super fun day but I was ready for a nap after.

Our simple Valentine's day

Friday was a lot of fun!

I got to spend the morning in Jordan's

class helping out with Valentine activities.

The kids are so much fun to be around and just love having you there.

After a couple hours in the classroom I stayed for lunch and recess too!

At recess Jordan and his friends played a game of run wild with a ball

and try to get it from one another. When they got bored with that they joined a game of basketball.

I went home for a few hours and then returned to his school

in time for them to open their valentines!

That night we dropped the kids with my mom.

We headed into Bellingham to do a little shopping.

Afterwards we got some dinner. We were going to go

see a movie but going home and cuddly up in bed to watch one

seemed way more appealing. So that is what we did. It was a

perfect evening together. Nothing fancy but I wouldn't have 

done it any other way.
