Memorial Day weekend

Memorial Day Weekend
May 27th-30th

Memorial Day Weekend is the first long weekend that usually starts off summer!
We didn't have the best weekend but we did get some sunshine to enjoy some outdoor activities.
Daddy went to Leavenworth for the weekend to go camping in the wilderness.

Friday
Friday we started the weekend off with playing outside, pizza,
crazy bread  and catching up on American Idol!

Saturday
Today is Jana's Bday and since she is in the hospital we decided to make the trip to go see her.
We ate breakfast, Jordan got dressed all by himself, and then headed out.

Last minute my dad decided to ride along with us.
We grabbed donuts to take to Jana.
As soon as we got there you guys were ready for donuts.

Jana and the babies (24 weeks)

We stayed and visited/played for a little over an hour.
The kids had fun even though it was small space.
To keep busy they sat in the wheel chair, twirled on the stool,
played with plastic frogs, colored a picture, and visited.

After left we drove about halfway back and stopped for lunch at McDonalds.
When we got home we relaxed for a bit before heading outside to play.  Jordan and I rode bikes around the block, down by the creek, and around in the alley.  Michelle played with Sydney outside and then they wanted to have a sleepover so I said ok.  They stayed up watching movies on the portable dvd player.

Sunday

Michelle and Sydney were up at the crack of dawn (6:40).
So we got ready for the early service and church.
After church we grabbed subway and headed to the park in Everson to
watch the canoe portion of the ski to sea race.

After barely making it home on a very empty gas tank we relaxed for a bit.  Michelle was looking for something to do so she called up my mom to see if she could spend the night.  This worked good because I needed to pick up her birthday gift.  We headed out the door, got in the car and realized I didn't have my keys.  They were locked in the house on the counter.  Of course all the windows were closed and I had went around and actually locked all the doors for once.  So I called my mom who sent me dad over and luckily he brought a ladder with him.  After looking around I realized our bedroom window was open.
My dad was able to climb up on the roof and into the window!!
He then left  with Michelle and Jordan and I headed into Bellingham.
It was dinner time now so we stopped at Taco Bell to eat.

At Wal-mart we picked some art supplies and a new bike for Michelle.
Jordan was an awesome helper and pushed the shopping cart
all over Wal-mart while I took the bike.

By the time we got home we were tired and ready for bed.
