Spring break day three {bouncy house fun}

Yesterday Jordan had a friend come over for his first friend sleepover!
Since they are boys and have lots of energy I took them to Jump around fun zone.
They jumped, ran around, played Yahtzee off/on and drank a ton of apple juice in little cans.

After two hours we took a break to meet Josh for lunch at Billy McHales.

They really wanted to go back to play but I figured we should lunch settle a little bit
so we headed over to Cornwall Park to play for a bit.
The sun was out but brrrr it was still cold especially with the breeze.

We ended staying another three hours at the Jump around Fun Zone.
They made some friends and just went hard almost non stop.
They did pause to play a few rounds of Yahtzee again, check out an
I spy book and drink more apple juice.
When all the kids left they each got a dollar for the toy machines.
They bounced a bit more with the place to themselves then they were ready to head home.

We got home about 5:30 so I started some dinner while they had down time on the xbox.
They played basketball and toys inside for a but until I was ready for them to
start settling down for bed. They watched a looney tunes and then we went for ice cream
at Edaleen Dairy. Then it was home, straight into jammies, Josh read to them
and tucked them in for the night. They were talking for about 45 minutes and then it was dead
silent. They were out for the count hard.
Today's adventure is riding the City bus to Bellingham!
Jordan has been wanting to do this since he was about three!

Movie and Menchies

Spring break is rolling along great!
I dropped Jordan off at a Spring training baseball camp
put on by the high school team.

I then returned home to get Michelle and three of her friends to go see Divergent.
Michelle actually asked me to bring my camera and take pictures!
Best day ever!
We had plenty of candy, popcorn and drinks!

After the movie they all wanted to go to Menchies.
Lots of testing, choices, pictures and ipods.

When we got back the girls headed over to another girls house for a sleepover.
Jordan is off at baseball practice with Josh and I get a little down time!
Another successful Spring break day!

Spring break day one {daffodil field}

I wanted us to not only have lots of time to relax during spring break
but also get out and enjoy the warm spring weather. I made a list
of things I would like to do during spring break. Even though we
didn't do what I originally planned we still took full advantage of the day.
We started off over at my sister in law's house for coffee which turned
into lunch. The boys were all playing together great and jumped on the
trampoline for a good two plus hours. They did pause for water, baby carrots
and lunch. Jordan wanted to post pone our original plan to play with his cousins
which I was more then fine with. Thanks for having Christine and feeding us lunch!
I did end up with quite the migraine from I think to much coffee first thing in the morning
and no food after exercising. Jordan and I rode our bikes home. I climbed into bed
with a pounding head and an ice pack while Jordan was free to play video games.
Luckily a little dark quiet time with an ice pack helped heal it up in about an hour.
Sometimes I am not so lucky and they last all day.

Still wanted to enjoy the day and sunshine Jordan and I headed to a local
daffodil field. I hear about every once in a while but never went to find it.
I got directions from a friend and we headed out hoping their were still daffodils.
We came prepared with scissors and glasses for the flowers.
Jordan was very into this and he just went with it cutting flower after flower.
I only ended up cutting like two to show him how long to leave the stems.
It was a real quiet peaceful time. I just packed off and took pictures while
he did his thing. It was perfect time in my book.
He hopes to go back again before they are all gone.
