Class of 2025!

It is official as of this afternoon Jordan is the newest member of the class of 2025!

We went in today and got him registered for Kindergarten.

{Yes this is the best picture I could get}

He passed the little test with flying colors!
WOWed the ladies with his charm and smarts :)

He is so EXCITED to start.
He wants to start now but I told him he has to wait until September.
In May they get to go in the evening for a readiness night!
We have the flyer on the fridge and he has the countdown going!

{cool Kindergartner!}
While he is over the top excited I have mixed feelings.
He will no longer be my little man.
Anything little about him will be gone.
I will definitely be the crying mom on the first day.
But I am trying to be excited because he is!
I know he is more then ready to go!

Hello Spring!

Today we say hello to Spring!
Hopefully the weather will agree and we will have more spring like days!
Yesterday was a really good start and I took advantage of by taking the kids on a walk to Bender!
Jana texted me when we were about half way there and she ended up walking there too!

The kids brought along trucks and shovels so they had a great time playing in the sand.

Looking forward to warmer and more sunshine filled days!

As I wrote this this the sky turned from sunshine to dark grey and just started pouring down rain :(
Not a good start.

Kid Dates

Saturday afternoon we made time to have dates with the kids.

Jordan and I headed out to Woods Coffee with a bag full of games!

We got there ordered our drinks & a cookie.
We got the comfy couch by the fire.

Jordan grabs his hot chocolate and goes to set it down.
Some how it slips out of his hand, the lid comes off, and it goes all over his lap.
Jordan HATES having his clothes wet and when at home changes immediately.
I was expecting him to have a total melt down and want to go home and change.
But he had a moment.
We grabbed napkins and tried to wipe his pants off.
I asked if he wanted to go and he said no.
So we pulled out paper and played tic tac toe.

Then we move on to angry bird sorry.
Jordan again spills his hot chocolate.

Jordan ends up winning even with me already having three pigs in my home.

We then play a half game of memory and do a puzzle before heading home.

When we get home Josh and Michelle are in the middle of a game of yahtzee.
I quickly capture some pictures so I have some of their time together too!

They had also made brownies which were finally cool enough to eat!

Michelle had a great time and by far the brownies were her favorite part.
They also sang karaoke another favorite activity of Michelle's!

Weekend Update

Another weekend gone in the blink of an eye.
Hard to look forward to them when they go so quick.
I think we need to make Monday part of the weekend.

This weekend was fun, chill, busy, relaxed.
A little everything!

Friday night the kids had a sleepover in Michelle's room!
They still love doing this on the weekend and I am all for it!
Anything that they want to do to spend time together I will encourage it!
Won't last for forever but hopefully it will be a memory they will hold on too.

Josh had Joel, Danny, and Danny's friend over who was visiting to play.
I decided I would go hang out with the ladies at Jana's house.
I have the hardest time staying up late on Friday nights so when I was yawning non stop I headed home.
The boys were still going full steam!

Saturday morning Josh had to work so the kids and I hung around the house.

Michelle likes to do school with Jordan and is teaching him to read and add!

In the afternoon we had dates with the kids.
Jordan and I went to Woods coffee.
Josh and Michelle stayed home.
To read all about our date with the kids go here.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing.
Watching basketball, playing with toys, cleaning and all that fun stuff.

Sunday we went to church.

Michelle got to go my mom's to spend the night.
Josh went to go play two rounds of golf.
(nine holes each)
Came home and made Jordan and I dinner.
Watched more basketball.

That wraps about wraps it up!
A week from today I will be in the warm sun in Hawaii!
