4th of July Celebration

Friday was the fourth of July!

We had a pretty key morning.

I made the kids are new traditional breakfast.

Blueberry pancakes topped with strawberry jam and whipped cream!

Josh and Jordan ran into town to get stuff for the BBQ later at my brother's.

When they got back we went to NY Pizza for lunch and to a fire work

stand to let Jordan pick out a few fire works.

Every year I put together goodie bags for the kids during fire work time.

Around 4 'o clock we headed over to my brother's!

We had a fun evening with family, friends, food and fire works!

take a trip | Lake Samish

Once a week my sister in law and I plan an outing 

for us and the kiddos to go on! One of their favorite places 

is Lake Samish. We were able to go twice last year {last years trip}

They love walking a ways around the lake and jumping off a fishing dock

into the water. This year wanted to live summer to its fullest jumped in too

and swam in the lake!  I didn't get nibbled at by any fish or attacked by

any green plants growing at the bottom. I am not really a huge swimmer

but I am glad I decided to get in the water.  

 

Summer regional in Seattle | Space needle

Sunday was our last day in Seattle. 

We had meant to do the Space Needle earlier 

in the weekend but didn't have the time. 

After we checked out of our hotel we drove over to check it out!

We also kept telling them they could get ice cream all weekend 

and we finally did up top the space needle!

What a week last week was!

I am hoping that is the most busiest week we have this

summer but I am sure it is not. I can't believe we are

saying good bye to June already.  This summer is going

to fast already but I am loving all the sunshine we have been having.

Monday Jordan started Jumpstart basketball camp.

His buddy was also doing the camp so we took him everyday too.

On top of that Michelle signed up to do games at our church's

day camp. We had to be out the door by 8:30 to drop Michelle and

her friend off at church. Then grab Jordan's friend and head into Bham

for their camp. Since I love making the most of summer and Monday was

supposed to the nicest day I wanted to take them to the spray park afterwards.

At the end of camp they got a coupon for mighty kids meals which they

 had to use right away. Since we had an hour until the spray park started that 

worked out perfect. Even though the sun never did come out they still had fun

 playing for two hours and burning off extra energy!

 Tuesday was a repeat of the same morning.

Get everybody to where they need to be. 

After camp we ate lunch at a nearby park and then 

headed over to Jump around fun zone.

Wednesday Josh did the morning run around.
I had child care kiddos so I got to stay home.
Jordan was happy to come home after camp and play.

Thursday was the last day of camp!

It had been a long week already so just headed home after.

Jordan enjoyed playing quietly.

I love how imaginative he still is.

Friday we had my nephews over while me sister went to work.
It was a drizzly day but we still played outside most of the morning!
That afternoon I had my older nephews over for a weekend sleepover!
Jordan had his first practice to get ready for the razz festival that evening.
