Mother's day

What a day!! I am truely blessed with an amazing husband and wonderful kiddos.

Josh got up and made us breakfast this morning while I enjoyed a shower.

After breakfast I got super spoiled with gifts and cards and then Michelle cleaned up breakfast!

We spent an entire day electronic/phone free at the Woodland Zoo in Seattle!

To be honest the kids were not happy about this at first. It took them about ten minutes

into the car ride to get over it. Then Jordan actually read five chapters in his tree house book 

in his head, Michelle read an entire one of his books and they counted popular restaurants

on signs all the way there!

Jordan was all about the zoo. He brought along his clipboard, pen and I gave him a disposable camera 

to document the trip. On his own he wrote down every animal we saw and even wrote down some

observations after he watched them for a bit! I think the Jack from the magic treehouse series is inspiring him.

We stopped for a quick dinner on the way home.

By the time we got there I was ready for bed!

Easter Sunday

Even though Easter Sunday was a few weeks ago I am still playing catch up.

We got up at a decent time so we could all sit down and have breakfast together.

We went to church, home to grab food and then off to my parents house.

All of my family came over except my brother John who is off at college.

We ate way to much food, played outside and the kids did an egg hunt!
