to the mountain

Winter is a hard season for me to find lots of joyous activities to do with the family.
Last year we took the kids sledding for the first time and it was a lot of fun.
It has become a new tradition for us to do or I would like it to be.
This past Saturday we finally made up to the mountain for an afternoon of sledding!
This year my brother and his family came along too.
We also brought up chili to eat afterwards.
There wasn't nearly as much snow as last year so there were a few sore bums
but other then that lots of fun!

January wrap up!

As you might have noticed I did not do a very good job at keeping up with blogging.
This month was busy and went as fast as every month seems to go!
I was with out my camera for the first few weeks while it got fixed.
Here is a quick look at our month in pictures!

Josh has been coaching Jordan's basketball team for
the boys and girls club league. They practiced twice a week with a game

Our Sundays have also been devoted to football!
We have been cheering the Seahawks on all season long!

We are so excited that they won the Superbowl!
Josh and Jordan are headed to the parade in Seattle tomorrow!

In between games on Sundays Josh and Jordan would
go out into the alley for a little football fun!

Go Seahawks! Boom!

We have been excitedly counting down to the day of the Superbowl!
We are big Seahawk fans here!
We had about 20 plus people over to watch the game!
We had a TON of yummy food, family and friends.
I set out activities for the kids through out the game.
I didn't take a ton of pictures but I got a few before the game started!
Go Seahawks!!!
Final score was 43-8! What a game!
