what {going to the library} looks like

I am trying more and more to capture things we do outside of the home.

Which means taking my camera with me everywhere (which I normally do.)

The problem isn't taking it it is pulling it out in public!

I am not big on that.

Family functions...no problem

the park...not so bad

anywhere else...eeek

I should just start wearing it around my neck everywhere like an accessory.
I just had to google how to spell that.
Totally blank brain moment.
Anyhoo.....
Eventually I would be so used to it being there I would feel weird not having it there.

There is a group of photographers that I follow on blogger that once a month post about everyday, routine life

such as......

bedtime routine

shopping at Target

walking to the mailbox

going to gramma's

A Sunday Drive

Being a tourist in your own city/town

last days of summer

ect.....

I love this idea and wanted to borrow it from them to use here.

They call it What ________ looks like

Each month fill in the blank with whatever I desire

The goal is to capture the kids/ family as they are.

Unposed and doing what we do as a family in the day to day.

So when Jordan and I ended up at the library the other night I pulled out my camera.

At first I was very shy about it.

If someone walked close to us or by I would quick hide it in my purse.

After a little bit I just didn't care and snapped away.

I am so glad I did!

This is what a trip to the library looks like.

I also brought my camera along yesterday to story time the library has.
It was Dr. Seuss's Birthday so the cat from cat in the hat was there.

Simple as that

first day- March 2012

Another month beginning!

This day happened to fall on my "off" Thursday.

The kids are out of school for mid winter break aka state basketball.

Michelle spent the night at her friends there and hung out there for the day.

Jordan and I had our favorite lazy day.

Enjoy our day in pictures!

This boy ate 4 bowls of oatmeal for lunch!

While he was eating we sang You are my sunshine together.

He added a pig version that he thought was quite funny.

Then it was off to rest time.

Where we continued to sing You are my sunshine and

I would snort every few words and he thought it was hilarious.

Some days Jordan doesn't nap but has quiet time.

I don't care either way as long as he stays in room for the time.

When I peaked in on him he was playing his DS.

After rest time we had snack and a show.

Then back to his room to watch him play!

Whiched turned into him tickling me and I would fake laugh.
He would then laugh.

Then I took a shower while he played DS.

By the time I got out he was running around playing Black OPs with his nerf guns.

Of course he ran and hid so I couldn't take his picture.
Stinker.

We then had dinner just the two of us.
He ate 5 waffles and apples.
Apparently he is a hungry, growing boy today!

The evening was spent playing angry bird magnets, ipad, playing with toys,
and me cleaning so it looked like I did something.
Josh stayed in bham for the day working and went to poker from there.
Michelle ended up not coming home from her friend's house until 9:30.
So it was a mommy Jordan day & night.
